The National Osteoporosis Society have published a number of helpful position statements and strategies for osteoporosis and bone densitometry:

It is highly reccomended that operators read these, especially the publication entitled: NOS Guidelines for the Provision of a clinical Bone Densitometry Service.

ISCD Official Positions
|
The International Society for Clinical Densitometry published their guidelines in November 2003. These represent the consensus view of the ISCD Scientific Advisory Committee. Topics covered include referral criteria for DXA, usage of WHO classification, reporting, precision etc.
