The University of Derby currently offers a range of postgraduate modules
in bone health, osteoporosis and falls management specifically related to the
needs of healthcare professionals.
The programme is flexible and is delivered through the distance learning
format of Learning Through Work (LTW) which enables students to study the
programme from all over the country and around the world. The modular
format allows the student to design their own programme specific to their
individual needs. Each module provides 15 credits to either a Postgraduate
Certificate or students may continue studying up to Masters level. It will
enable healthcare professionals to develop skills of analysis and critical
reflection to respond to the ever changing nature of healthcare.
This externally accredited competency based award will contribute to
the students PREPP and CPD requirements.
